Cookie policy
Cookies and similar technologies on TrustTrip.
TrustTrip uses cookies and browser storage for secure sessions, functional preferences, temporary interface state, abuse-prevention feedback, and guest support continuity. This page explains what they do and the control you have.
What cookies we use and why
Session security (essential)
Signed-in sessions rely on secure session cookies that keep you signed in. They cannot be read by page scripts, and the platform cannot keep you signed in without them.
Language preference (functional)
When you choose EN or FR with the language switch, a cookie remembers that choice so pages render in your language on the next visit. The /fr URL prefix always wins for the page you are on.
Reliability and protection (essential)
Limited technical cookies support fraud prevention, abuse protection, and basic product reliability. TrustTrip is not designed around third-party advertising trackers.
Browser storage (functional and temporary)
Local storage and session storage can retain your language choice, temporary interface state, abuse-prevention feedback, and guest support continuity. These browser features are separate from cookies and may remain until you clear the relevant site data.
Your control
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear browser storage. Session cookies are required to stay signed in. Blocking them means booking, messaging, and account features will not function. Clearing cookies does not always clear local storage or session storage, so use your browser’s site-data controls when you want to remove both.
Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to support. The Privacy policy describes the broader data picture.
