Cookie policy
How cookies and similar technologies are used on TrustTrip.
TrustTrip uses a small, deliberate set of cookies: what is strictly needed for secure sessions, plus functional preferences like your language. This page lists what they do and the control you have.
What cookies we use and why
Session security (essential)
Signed-in sessions rely on secure, HTTP-only cookies that authenticate your requests. They cannot be read by page scripts, and the platform cannot keep you signed in without them.
Language preference (functional)
When you choose EN or FR with the language switch, a cookie remembers that choice so pages render in your language on the next visit. The /fr URL prefix always wins for the page you are on.
Reliability and protection (essential)
Limited technical cookies support fraud prevention, abuse protection, and basic product reliability. TrustTrip does not run invasive third-party advertising trackers.
Your control
Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time. Doing so is your choice — but session cookies are required to stay signed in, so blocking them means booking, messaging, and account features will not function. Language preference simply falls back to the URL and defaults.
Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to support; the Privacy policy describes the broader data picture.
