New members start with +50 Trust points when they create an account. Keep earning as you travel and earn again when friends join with your invite. When your balance covers the platform-fee line at checkout, that booking fee can land at $0. The driver’s shared amount stays separate.
How it works

Welcome gift at signup
Create your account and receive +50 Trust points as a real welcome bonus. This is the live amount TrustTrip grants today, not a teaser.
Earn as you travel
Complete bookings on published shared trips the usual way. Points continue to add up as you stay active on TrustTrip. They are an ongoing reward for real travel, not a one-time gimmick.
Cover booking fees
At checkout, when you’re eligible and your balance covers the full TrustTrip platform-fee total for your seats, you can pay that line with points so the online booking fee is $0. You still settle the driver’s shared amount in person as shown on the trip.
Invite friends and earn more points
Your invite link is another real way to grow your Trust points balance, not a second program. Share TrustTrip. When someone you invite completes a first qualifying step, you earn points you can put toward more $0 booking fees.
More points means more chances to cover TrustTrip reservation fees at checkout, but never the driver’s shared amount.
Passenger invite gift
Earn +200 Trust points when a friend joins with your link and completes their first passenger booking.
Driver invite points
Earn +300 Trust points when an invited driver completes their first qualifying trip with riders.

Driver amount stays separate
The shared amount for your segment remains payable to the driver and is itemized separately on the trip page and at checkout.
Eligibility at checkout
Paying with points follows the rules shown when you book, including any unlock or eligibility steps TrustTrip has enabled. If points aren’t offered on a checkout, use card for the platform fee as usual.
Where to see your balance & invites
After you sign in, open the Rewards hub for your Trust points, activity, and your personal invite link. Guests see the story here. Your live balance and share tools live in your account.

When you choose Trust points at checkout, you’re eligible, and your balance covers the full platform-fee total for your booking, the online booking-fee charge can be $0. The driver’s shared amount is still paid separately in person.
