Help with your account

One account for passenger and driver activity.

TrustTrip illustration for this resource page

TrustTrip uses a single account across passenger and driver activity. This guide maps what requires signing in, how roles work, and where to manage your profile, bookings, and preferences.

What works without an account

Browsing trips, reading trip pages with full amount breakdowns, and all the public guides. You can evaluate everything that matters, including prices, before creating an account.

What an account unlocks

Reserving seats, messaging members, posting ride requests, and your passenger space with booking records and notifications. Creating an account is free. When passenger membership is enabled, booking also requires an active plan. Verification of your contact details protects you and the members you travel with.

Driver access on the same login

There is no separate driver account. Completing driver onboarding adds the driver workspace to your existing login, and the app shell lets you switch between passenger and driver views.

Where things are managed

Bookings and ride requests

Your passenger space lists bookings with status and amounts, plus your active ride requests with their expiry. Each booking page is also where adjustments and cancellations start.

Profile, language, and preferences

Settings hold your profile details, EN/FR language preference, and passenger or driver defaults. Changes apply to future activity. They never rewrite existing booking records.

Notification preferences

Account settings at /dashboard/settings let you control email, in-app, and SMS channels. Recurring transactional SMS (for example payment or trip alerts) require the SMS setting on a verified account number. SMS verification codes are sent only after you select Send code. Opt-out details and message types are in the Privacy policy SMS notifications section.

Memberships and payment

Account → Subscriptions manages memberships and the renewal billing card. Payment methods holds cards for trip checkout. They are separate on purpose. The memberships page explains the split.
